Dr. Ting

Managing Founder & Chief Academic Consultant


Holds a Doctor of Education from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s degree in English Education. Previously spent nearly a decade at a multinational education group accredited by both AIRC and CSIE, where she led operations across corporate training, sales, student services, human resources, and finance.

 

Dr. Zhang has supported over 5,000 students through comprehensive one-stop U.S. education services—including admissions, school transfers, academic advising, on-the-ground support, and career guidance. She has visited more than 100 U.S. institutions, including top universities, liberal arts colleges, and both public and private high schools.

 

Her students have been admitted to a wide range of Top 30 U.S. universities, such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia, the Wharton School at UPenn, Cornell, Brown, USC, Carnegie Mellon, UCLA, and UC Berkeley, among others.

 

 

 

Dr. Brian

​Co-Founder & Head of Admissions Writing


Holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master’s degree in English Education, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego.

 

Dr. Ge currently works as a Scientific Editor at the UC San Diego School of Medicine, and previously served as a science writer and editor at the University of Pittsburgh. She has helped U.S. university faculty publish hundreds of academic articles and apply for over $1 billion USD in government research funding.

 

With over a decade of experience living in Asia, Dr. Ge brings a unique cross-cultural perspective and extensive experience in English editing, standardized test writing, broadcasting, and English instruction. Fluent in Chinese and deeply familiar with Chinese culture, she studied Mandarin at Peking University and is known for her ability to understand even the most complex “Chin-English” expressions.

 

 

Milson Wang

Co-Founder & Director of Academic Guidance


Holds a Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University, a Bachelor’s degree from Tianjin University, and completed an exchange program at the University of Hong Kong.

 

With a background in top-tier securities firms and education-focused investment institutions,Milson brings over 8 years of experience in education and international admissions consulting.

 

He previously served as an admissions consultant at institutions such as WholeRen Education (U.S.), Tiandao Education’s PhD Consulting Division, and Beijing Luqiao Times Education, and also held roles at major education companies including New Oriental and Xueda Education Group.

He himself received 10+ offers from leading master’s and PhD programs, and has helped students gain admission to top universities such as Columbia University, Johns Hopkins University, UCLA, UC Davis, USC, and the University of Toronto.

 

 

 

​Dr. Emma

Senior and Chief Editor and Writter


Dr. Emma is a highly respected mentor with extensive experience in teaching, writing, and editing. She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Columbia University and has spent the past 15 years working directly in English writing instruction, academic editing, and application essay coaching. Her expertise is especially evident in guiding Columbia undergraduates with graduate and doctoral applications, as well as in editing academic papers for publication.

 

Over the years, Dr. Emma has helped numerous students gain admission to top universities and research institutions worldwide. She is known for her deep insight into each student’s individuality and her exceptional ability to enhance personal statements and academic essays.

 

Her coaching style is both strategic and personalized—she excels at helping students identify their strengths and translate them into compelling narratives that align with their target programs. Under her guidance, students’ writing not only improves significantly in quality and depth, but also becomes better tailored to the expectations of competitive academic institutions.

 

 

​Professor Pine

Research & Academic Planning Advisor


Professor Pine holds a Bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University, a Master's degree in Information Technology – Software Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He has also taught three graduate-level courses on programming, computational methods, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).

 

With extensive experience in both academia and industry, Professor Pine has held management and technical consulting roles at several leading tech companies, where he was responsible for developing and overseeing large-scale software projects. He also brings substantial hands-on experience in the field of civil engineering.

 

In his teaching career, Professor Pine has led multiple graduate courses and supervised a number of research-based student projects. He is known for guiding students through innovative, application-driven research, helping them build both practical skills and academic capabilities. He also offers hands-on support in academic writing and publication, with many of his students successfully publishing in top-tier journals.

 

Beyond teaching and research, Professor Pine is actively involved in student mentorship and academic planning. He provides tailored career coaching and recommendation support, helping students identify their research interests and career paths. He frequently encourages students to participate in industry conferences and internships, enhancing their real-world exposure, industry insight, and competitiveness.

Ms. Wu holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh, an MBA from the University of California, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). She has previously worked in government foreign affairs and at multinational education organizations accredited by AIRC and CSIE. She has also taught at the University of Pittsburgh and Cairo University in Egypt.

 

With over 8 years of teaching experience at a prestigious century-old U.S. private high school, Ms. Wu has helped students gain admission to Ivy League and other top universities year after year.

 

She possesses a deep understanding of both U.S. high school and college life, and excels at guiding students in self-management, academic planning, and emotional support. Known for her empathy and communication skills, she effectively bridges students, parents, teachers, and schools to ensure students thrive both academically and personally.

 

 

​Kenny

Co-Founder & Chief Admissions Consultant


 

Mr. Kenny holds a degree from Oxford Brookes University in the UK and brings over 13 years of experience in international education consulting. He specializes in early-stage advising for students and parents, including school selection, application planning and execution for U.S. middle schools, undergraduate, and graduate programs, as well as post-admission services such as homestay arrangements and academic progress tracking.

Kenny has successfully guided over a thousand students to admission at U.S. high schools, colleges, and graduate programs. He is highly familiar with the U.S. education system and application processes, and is known for providing families with holistic support before, during, and after admission.

His students have been admitted to prestigious institutions such as Duke University, Columbia University, Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell University, UC Berkeley, University of Michigan–Ann Arbor, UC Santa Barbara, USC, and New York University, among others.

 

 

 

Dr. Andy 

Research & Academic Enrichment Advisor 


Dr. Andy is a senior research scientist at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital, with over a decade of experience in biomedical research, including machine learning, multi-omics data analysis, and next-generation sequencing. He is proficient in R, Python, Matlab, Java, and C, and has published 14 papers in top peer-reviewed journals.

Beyond research, Dr. Andy is passionate about mentoring students in academic projects and background enhancement. He has helped many students strengthen their research skills, participate in international conferences, and gain admission to top global universities through hands-on guidance in research design, data analysis, and academic writing.

Test Prep & Admissions Writing Advisor

 


​Dr. DL holds a Ph.D. in English from Cornell University and has over 15 years of frontline teaching experience at U.S. high schools and universities. She has extensive expertise in English instruction, academic editing, and admissions essay coaching. A former instructor at Cornell, she is known for building strong, trusting relationships with students and providing highly personalized guidance.

Born in China, Dr. DL achieved a perfect score on the SAT Reading section and near-perfect GRE Verbal score—testament to her deep understanding of the English language and years of dedicated study.

As a test prep and essay advisor, Dr. DL helps students master English-language exams while also offering strategic coaching on personal statements, recommendation letters, and other key application materials. Her combined focus on language skills and storytelling strategy has helped countless students gain admission to top universities.

Critical & Creative Writing Advisor


Nathan holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Creative Writing & Communication and Psychology (2002), and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing (2022). With over 16 years of experience teaching writing in private schools, as well as online platforms, he specializes in academic, creative, and advanced research writing—including AP-level instruction and doctoral writing support.

Nathan offers structured, thoughtful guidance across all stages of writing: from idea development and drafting to revision and final polish. His approach emphasizes critical thinking, clarity, and storytelling depth, helping students strengthen both their voice and logic.

Fluent in remote teaching, Nathan supports students effectively through asynchronous feedback and live sessions. Passionate about writing and teaching, he empowers students to produce writing that is both insightful and impactful.

Kevin is an experienced international educator from the U.S. with over six years of teaching at international schools in Beijing. He holds a California State Teaching Credential and a degree from California State University, specializing in IB MYP English Language & Literature with a focus on literary analysis, research writing, and interdisciplinary expression.

As a bilingual instructor fluent in Chinese, Kevin deeply understands the learning styles and challenges of Chinese students in international programs. He bridges the gap between English writing logic and students’ native thought processes, helping them build strong foundations in critical thinking and structured expression.

Kevin creates a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages confidence and clarity. With extensive experience in IB writing, academic research, public speaking, and debate, he equips students with the skills needed for success in international high school, college, and university applications.
